SOLITAIRE ELEKTRA - SAMPLER INSTRUMENT

The SOLITAIRE ELEKTRA was inspired by the sound of striking a key on a rhodes or a wurli with the sustain pedal down and hearing all of the overtones of the keys next to the intended key faintly ringing. It's a beautifully rich, harmonic tone full of nuance, a snappy attack, and a touch of analog tape hiss.

SOLITAIRE refers to the depth of the samples in this instrument... which is 1. My SOLITAIRE SERIES will be all single waveform instruments in the style of vintage Casiotone keyboards and so many other retro keyboards that so many of us grew up with that blur the line between toy and instrument. Unlike most modern software instruments, these quirky, lovable instruments use one sound per voice pitch-shifted across the keyboard to give a primitive, retro sound. Not only does it sound cool, but it uses less drive space and less processor power to run. This is as simple as a sample instrument gets.

Included are 4 different versions of this electric piano sound including the original with a snappy attack, a version with heavy Dimension D modulation, a version printed to cassette tape and resampled, and another tape version with a soft attack.
